Hair is an important part of our body. Your half of the overall looks depends on the hairstyle both on men and women. Women with long hairs have different hairstyles which they change on a daily basis. Men usually with 2-3 hairstyles which they may change after a week or month.

But watching your hair thin out can be extremely painful. Brushing and running your hands through your hairs becomes things that you start to dread. There are still remedies you can prefer to stop hair fall and thinning out of hair.

Lack of nutrition is one of the main problems for the loss of hair. Your overall healthy lifestyle depends on nutrition. Unhealthy lifestyle leads to many problems which include thinning out of hair.

So, what are the changes needed in your diet and in your lifestyle to fix your nutrition?

  • Iron requirements

Deficiency of iron in your diet leads to hair loss and thinning of hair. Sources of iron-rich food are chicken, meat, fish, egg, cauliflower, broccoli, spinach etc. which fulfills the requirement of iron in your daily diet.

Protein is an essential nutrient for your hair. If there is a lack of protein in your diet then it may cause hair fall. Amino acids in the diet strengthen your hairs.

Sources of protein-rich foods are chicken, eggs, fish, egg whites, paneer, soybeans, tofu, beans, nuts, milk, yogurt and protein supplement like Whey protein.

You all know Vitamin C boosts the immune system but it is also essential for hair. Vitamin C helps to absorb the iron in your body.

Omega-3 is essential for your brain and scalp. If your scalp is dry or weak then there is a lack omega-3 in your diet

Sources of omega-3 rich foods are fish, seeds (flaxseeds, chia seeds, pumpkin seeds, etc), walnuts, peanuts, cashews, almonds, etc.

Many people do not know about Biotin. Biotin is actually B-vitamin, also called vitamin B7 which is also essential for your healthy hair.

You can scalp massage your hair twice a week. When you massage your scalp, the area gets warm which increases the blood circulation thus helping to provide nutrients of food to the scalp.

You can massage your scalp with coconut oil or almond oil before going to bed at night or in the morning.

Things you need to notice which may affect your hair.

  1. If you apply any hair products like gel, hair wax, hairspray in your hair then wash it before going to bed.
  2. Less use of blow dryer because too much of heat may damage your hair.
  3. Wash your hair with good quality shampoo.
  4. Avoid artificial sweeteners like soft drinks and packed juice.
  5. Do not take drugs.
